Long list ...

As I mentioned before with big house come big responsibilities. And that means that there is a lot of work that needs to be done in order to make this big house into our new home. As an avid list maker I created a master list that outlines every little (and big) project that needs to be done before we can call this house our home. Some of the items on that list include the following:

1. Master bathroom remodelling
2. Complete kitchen makeover
3. Fresh coat of paint... Well pretty much everywhere

With big house come big responsibilities...

It's been a few days since we moved all of our stuff from the condo to the new house. And let me tell you it still feels a little unreal. It's hard for me to picture this big house as my new home yet. That can simply be because the whole house is full of boxes and is a complete mess...

We are technically still in process of unpacking and sorting things out. And that means boxes full of stuff, cleaning and painting supplies are scattered everywhere. My morning routine takes forever because it takes me a while to locate my shoes, clothes and other daily necessities.

I realize that it will take us a while to unpack, settle in, paint, and make this big house into our new home. Basically I've come to a conclusion that with big house come big responsibilities because with every room there is more cleaning, more unpacking, more homemaking. While I don't mind the process, I'm a little anxious to get it all done and sorted out so I can start living in my new home instead of cleaning my new house.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to all the little and big projects that we have coming our way!

The moving day is here!

It's moving day. After a few busy weeks we are finally moving into our new home. Thanks to some great (and fit) friends we were able to move dozens of boxes, furniture and life necessities from our apartment into our new home!

Packing is in progress

As our moving day - November 30 - approaches, it's time to start packing. It's funny how much stuff we accumulated in the last few years. And most of this "stuff" is very useless... So far we made great process and packed most of the stuff that we don't use on daily basis. Now it's time to start packing everything else whether we use it or not because this weekend is the last weekend at our apartment. This time next week we will be at our new house. How exciting!

Moving on!

It's time for us to move on and move out of our small high rise condo into a bigger place!

This is what our condo looked like and this blog is dedicated to showcasing our new home. Our new "Houze" needs a little bit of work to make it cozy and "ours", and this blog is here to document this  process.
